Now this individualism is basically a multimillion business. Now that people want to be different, and how they want to be different is constantly changing, business has limitless opportunities to produce new 'different' things that will appeal to peoples desires to be different. No longer is business limited by peoples needs, and material desires that can be saturated. A movement that had once been against businesses identi kit production lines now embraced the variations of designs the businesses offered them.
Now so many people who think they are being individual somehow are just starting to believe that to be themselves they must look as different as possible. People seem to be thinking that they HAVE TO stay as far from 'normal' (or the perception of normality) as possible to be anything different. But in reality it is still the huge corporations who are selling the other looks. They are selling specific images, and nowadays, with every image comes other peoples preconceptions. People seem to think in terms of uniforms. If you are wearing one thing you are this or that, and you may be hated by some closed minded fools for the way you dress, and the clothes you wear re supposed to make some statement about yourself.
Why? Whatever I wear I am still going to be the same person beneath it. Is this superficial coating so important?
Anyway, my point is that you don't need to go out and try to be as different as possible to be individual. You just have to do what you want, not what some trend or fashion designer is telling you to.

> are bad, I just looked - Ekkkkk!
Sorry, I'm not sure of the name of the program, and because I have no TV guide around I can't look it up! However, it is a series and it's on next week, and that's gonna be about how politicians have tried to 'market' themselves to get votes... I'll look tomorrow and tell you what the program was so if you are interested (or just very bored) you can check out the program next week.
Anyway, cheers for reading.
