You will only need a 4 or 5 port Hub. Actually you will need a mains power Hub. I just thought the speed of USB is only 12MBps or something like that, so I dont think you can get any 100MBps USB Hub. Check out page 35 of the SR mag for all the Hubs that SR do, all of them include mains adaptors and a cheap one costs £30.

You can get a Hub from SR. Best to get a 100MBps Hub. The you would need 2 Ethernet network cables, and a network card in your PC.

Thats ok. Just remember to get Ethernet Network cables NOT Ethernet Crossover cables(Official Link cable).

Also with the HUB you could get a USB or a mains operated one. It depends on whether your going to hold a Xbox LAN where you will use only Xboxs on the HUB. If your going to sometimes use the HUB without a PC then you will need a mains operated one.

And you will need a network card in your PC. There are a few ways to connect the Xbox to a PC.

remove space

This may help you see which setup you will need. Also the Gamespy website has details on how to set up a Xbox connection.

I think you need the Ethernet Network leads. You can get them from SR page 35 in the book.

The lead to connect the Xbox to a Hub is different to that of the Xbox link cable. If you have Issue 2 of the Official Xbox mag, look for the section on LAN gaming.
