When you hear a noise, or see something lurking in the shadows and on closer inspection it is not the axe wielding maniac you thought it was then beware. For it is then that you will be struck from behind by the said maniac.
You all know what I mean. You get the build up of tension because you are under the impression that the killer is just around the corner. Then you find out that it is just a cat or something. You breathe a huge sigh of relief and then BAM! Happens every time.
Any more 'rules of a horror film' that you reckon they missed out?
