The best genre ever? Well it's a mixed bunch of games in here. Shoot em' ups, are rarely different from any others except the likes of Deus Ex and Tomb Raider, driving games has no plot or purpose except winning a silly race or or smashing other cars or chasing another car. Platformers like Mario and all others have you
jumping about a level, with your magic powers collecting coins etc, to save their world?
Sports games have you scoring goals in a virtual net, beating a virtual person and wnning a virtual race. What all these genres have is a licence to thrill us!
I'm not trying to make them sound really stupid, but what are these all about? How do these hook you into the game like a fishing until your finished with it? What is the best genre or why isn't their one.
