There isn't a single day which goes past which doesn't offer some new news about gaming. May it be about rumors, release dates, newly announced games or just screenshots but every week hold's something new.

I am going to look back on what has happened in the last week and put my own opinion. If I enjoy myself I may do it again, I'll just have to remember.

14th October - 20th October 2002

The week started off with some of the best news most of you had heard in ages. After just waking up, seeing the Breakfast news, turning it off because it's boring then switching on your PC for your own world of news you read one of the greatest sentences you've ever read - "Grand Theft Auto : Vice City is FINISHED!". By the time you got to the last part of the last word your breakfast would of split, but it doesn't matter...Vice City's done. It's going to be something special, so much that pre-orders for this game are probably breaking the barrier right now.

Two days in and the Ninty's pants start to grow. The new Zelda game for the GameCube is given a name. Hands shook on mouse’s, eyes stared on and then a look of confusement was given - Legend Of Zelda: Winds Of Takuto. Of course Ninty's around the world made excuses saying "It's all about the gameplay not the name", well partly yes but still...the names crap. Going by the title I would say that Mr. Takuto should lay off the Sushi for a while eh?

Now most of you probably know that most of the world’s population owns a Playstation 2 then any other console. So when I read that the Gameboy Advance had sold more in one week then the Playstion 2 in Japan I started to wonder why everyone was getting thrills about it. Basically, people aren't going to be buying the same console twice...*Note - This is Japan we are talking about*...ok so it is likely people are going to buy the same console twice, maybe three times but it is more likely people will buy the Gameboy Advance now rather then the Playstation 2. Why? Because they haven't got a Gameboy Advance yet! *Slaps someone over head* Most stupid news I'd read in a while that...

Probably the biggest story this week was that some BMX game with half-naked chicks is not going to be sold in some American shops because their manager's balls haven't dropped yet. Still, the UK will be stocking it so you can all buy it and instead of having some bloke on a bike you can have a woman with her melons weighing you down. WOW, now you will know how it feels like to be a girl on a bike...I can't wait. And now your female friends can play it and find out how it feels like to be a hot girl on a bike. After all, it's just a bunch of pixels so nothing to get excited over, it's just any old BMX game in new wrapping e.g it's crap.

Here we go again...Tony Hawks 4 is out...*tries to look excited*...here is the soundtrack...

The Sims : Online had some new shots released this week. They involved characters in short skirts and lonely internet people chatting them up on screen. The developers are seeing this game as 'The new breed of chatroom' where you can walk around and talk to people you can't see in real life and try and make cyber love to them. Er...EA have gone Hippie too.

Finally, Metal Gear Solid has been announced for the Gameboy Advance and damn right too. You see, Metal Gear Solid is one of those games where most the time you see from overhead and the Gameboy Advance was made for that kinda stuff. So let's get stealthy...

And there's your week in gaming.
