1996. The ECW Arena. D-von Dudley had recently made his ECW debut. He had taken offence at the rabble known as his family and had been feuding with them for weeks. I forget the name of the event, but D-Von Dudley and Axl Rotten were teaming up against Big dick Dudley and Buh Buh Ray Dudley. D-Von suddenly turned on Axl. Whipping him off the ropes and elevating him straight into Buh Buh's Bubba Cutter. This move not only left Joey Styles searching for a name to describe it but also made a young Cong Man sit up and think 'Wow'. In this moment the Dudley Boyz as we know them today were born, it also turned them from amusing side-show into the most dominant Tag-Team in ECW history. The move, which would become known as the 3D helped the Dudleyz cut their way through the greatest teams that ECW had to offer and eventually propelled them into the WWF. As i saw the birth and death of the Dudley Boyz and a lot of wood and gold inbetween, I would just like to say thankyou to Buh Buh and Devon for the many interesting memories I have been left with. Thanks boys. I really hope they become succesful Singles wrestlers, because they were one of the most inventive Tag Teams I have ever seen, especially when creating double team maneuvers. Just like Sabu, the team of the Dudleys will remain in my head forever. Thanks for the memories boys.

They could still get together at PPVs, or maybe after the split angle is done and dusted, but this is unlikely.

Cya Dudleyz, you were good, and we all knew it.

Bye :-(

Their last match together was great. They have always been my favourite tag team ever since I started watching the WWF. Their last match on Smackdown was great. They turned faces in front of their home crowd to end their tag team on a high. There was almost a tear in my eye as they did the 3D to Billy through the table. How can they possibly split up the Dudley Boyz it just won't be the same. What was the WWF thinking? I just hope they'll find some way of getting them back together.
