who thinks, that the new zelda look make zelda profits dented?
i mean, if you think about it, if only people who like cellshading and nothing else, and the people who only care about zeldas gameplay.
then, all the people who want a gamecube version because its cheaper that the 64 versions, same thing aplied.
then all the people who heard a bit of hype and wanted to give it a go, same thing aplied again.
then the people who would have bought it if the graphics had made full use of the cube's potensial.
that said, there will be a lot of portensial zelda buyers
lost. a lot of zelda buyers nintendo may rely on later. if the most anticipated nintendo game gets less buyers than 3d graphics would have got, that would mean nintendo would have less money for things like advertising. and then the sony, and xbox hype would consume the world.

Ocarina of Time was a new look for Zelda games when that was first released.
I reckon there will still be a large enough fan base for Nintendo to make quite a large profit on the franchise. You never know, some gamers may even get curious!
Though, Nintendo don't spend much on advertising anyway, relying on magazines and public opinions to get more sales in the UK.

Have you ever seen the NES versions?
Frankly the fact that the game will no doubts get around 98% in virtually every magazine when it comes out, will no doubts help it sell MILLIONS of copies!
