Now, PS2 fans, think carefully about this one. Did the Playstation 2 have a good a launch as the Xbox? Call me a traitor, but I don't think it did!
The Xbox had a more prepared Europian launch than the PS2 for several reasons. They gained a lot of cooperation from many developers and had created more launch titles than the PS2 did. Also, a lot of peripherals had already been made for the Xbox, while the PS2 had very little to offer.
The online capabilities of the Xbox were already set with broadbands available in most game shops, so really Xbox had a better launch.
Although, many people seemed to prefer the PS2's overall features like comfortable controllers and stylish looks and many didn't like the look or feel of the Xbox, the Xbox did seem a lot more prepared for its debut launch.
Could the fact that Sony's debut launch for the Playstation was a huge success alter the PS2's preparation by making Sony a lot more lazy...your decision, but I don't think it did.
Who do you think had a better launch?
> Blindo the PS2 one question asked-
why does the xbox smell so bad?
--------------
