Im no fanboy ive got both games i dont like res at all but mario is great and trust me im not fanboy as i like more games on the ps2 at the mo.

Id say either but if ya like adventures over platformers get Resi Evil it is the best, mario is good but not on the same scale and seen as ive got both trust me on this 1 m8 and dont listen to the fanboys, i ilike both so im not biaaste.
