"My Lips Are Burning!!!"

I went to see my mates band at The Square last night (Mickey Tornado and The Shambolics) and it was freakin' wickedy wah wah! I was really really surprised at how good they were. If any of you chimps went to the Square last night, you'll remember them because they were all electro and Kraftwerky and the singer was screaming and jumping about. I used to be in a band with the drummer and I was surprised at what he'd got in to with this lot (and jealous to be honest). The whole gimick with their music is that it's really disorganised and then comes together - and it worked. Not quite what the Square normally plays, but I think it went down alright. Better than the other two bands that sounded like Elbow and Oasis. I couldn't tell you what type of music MTATS's played - it's a mixture of electronica, rock and just plain weird. It was their first gig aswell and they really threw themselves into it. Good on you boys! They were billed as 'Speake', but were soon informed of what a crappy name that was by me and Snuggly and co, so they changed it on the night. If they ever play anymore gigs, check them out - you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Oh and the burning lips thing. I don't know what I did last night, but my lips are burning like hell this morning.
