Its something that some people say is true and some people say its not, but do games reflect you as a person?
I mean speaking from a personal point of view, i play games that i think reflect me as a person but can games reflect who you are? or do you play the games just because people say its good and you buy it?
Well its hard to say either way really, on one hand you trust the magazines and websites that you read to see just how good a game is, but on the other hand you may buy that particular game because you have an interest in that sport or genre, but is there more to your attract to the game than meets the eye? allow me to explain..

-More money than sense

Yes, we've seen the people walk into games shops and buy games for the fun of it, we've all done it at some point just to show off to friends or because the boredom levels are so high that you will actually pick any old rubbish off the shelf and spend your hard earned on it, you get it home and just can't bare to play it again, months later you wonder "Why did i buy that pile of rubbish?", so many of us have done this before and sometimes i don't know what came over me, but should you trust yourself or dare i say it even others?
It might sound stupid but most of us have asked other people "Which game should i buy?", i mean lets think about this, you want a game to suit your needs surely? Maybe we should just trust our own instinct and be bold, don't listen to the magazines and websites or listen to others and just go out and buy a game that YOU think looks good, it would be interesting to see without trusting anyone else which games people would go for.

-The Consumers

But this begs the question, Are the consumers to blame for your bad choice in games? well maybe, we've all come onto the forums and laughed at how you walk into some games retailers and cannot believe some of the info been thrown at the customer, false or just plain silly just to get you buy the game, i mean who employees these people who tells us what to buy? Its surely a conspirisy! People like er-no know what they are doing, these people should be in shops helping us find what suits us as a person, not some idiot who advises you on any old rubbish, good on the staff that know what they are doing, but lets hope more people like who know what they are doing work in gaming shops.

- Magazines/Websites

How many of you log onto websites or read magazines and buy a game based only on what you've seen? Does a Numer or percentage really mean that the game is not good enough for you as a person?
Do these reviewers have the right to decide on how good a game is? well to a certain degree yeah of course they are, but even though you might like that type of particular game, it doesn't mean you are going to like it, everyone is different so surely only you can decide what you want? Its a question that will be asked time and time again, but can we really get the answer we are looking for? well as an individual yes i do think we can get an answer, but we must not forget the important fact that everyone is different, we all want and like different things, so when someone next says a game you have is lame, tell them its what you enjoy, its your choice and one elses.

- Friends
Does peer pressure effect your decision to buy a game? Well its a tough one, but i'm sure many times you've been stood in a shop and you will ask a friends advice on a game, it happens on the forums nearly everyday, are we that unsure about what we want that we need other peoples opinions? or are we just spoilt for choice? perhaps its both, but friends and more importantly other peoples views seem to always influence our decision on what to buy, should it be this way or is this the way forward, trusting other people and living to regret it? Maybe we should all be a blind gamer and just walk into a shop and buy what looks good on the box or whats being advertised in the window? so many questions but so little answers, why? only we know that and its probably because we don't take all of these questions into account when buying a game, maybe from now on we should? or maybe we shouldn't, its our personality and everyones different, do we really need to change?

-Yourself

The most important point is that you have to ask yourself these questions and then one more, Do i make the choice or do i trust others? its one choice only you can make and its what makes every gamer different in many ways, who wants to be the same? not me, lets be different and keep it that way.

Only you know what you want, But who can you trust? Yourself? or others? You Decide.

I usually trust myself to picks the games that i want to play, obviously because i know what games i like to play more than anyone. Of course though i look at different sources to get the information on the game that i want, see what reviews say, see what you lot on here think of a game, and then see whether i would like to play the game. If all things go well i might end up buying the game.

But nothing and no one would ever get me to buy the game. A few months back, State Of Emergency came out and it seemed that everyone on the Sony Forum was getting the game. The fact that it was similar to GTA3 and that everyone who was getting it was saying that it was good meant that more people would get it, sometimes it even seemed that some were getting it just because the others were, and thats not right, and it shows. Three weeks later the posts about it stop, people say its boring and a bad game.

Just shows, only person to trust is yourself.

10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Second to none...
So far the services you provide are second to none. Keep up the good work.
