I have had loads of people asking me why there 1200 celeron will not work in their motherboard and the system does not boot, this isnt because the cpu is faulty it is because the celeron 1200 is the new tualitin chip which has a 1.3 micron die instead of the older 1.8 micron die and also has copper interconnects, you can tell this chip phisicaly by the heatspreader on the die (just like the P4) the problem is most older motherboards and motherboard revisions will not take this cpu, i hope that puts most of your minds at rest, if you really didnt want to know or didnt care then erase what you have just read from your memory and carry on twiddling your thumbs and searching for porn in your other browser :)
