I think the mapmaker on timesplitters 2 is great and is much better than some of the multiplayer maps but why does it have such a small amount of memory you can use on it especially with the xbox's hard drive. Anyone else got any views on this or the game in general?

its great but the only thing it lacks is a solid story which is dissapointing especially after halo n/m

Because its a game that works on PS2 and GC. So they can have the maps being made too big, other wise they wouldnt work on the PS2 or GC. Plus the map needs to be run and stored into RAM. The levels you make wouldnt be like the other main levels in which they are either loaded in from the disc or the hard disk. If the game was specially made for the XBox then the map maker may use the XBox hard disk as a buffer, but as its a multi-format game they wouldnt have bothered with this.

No point making single player levels anyway and massive Deathmatch levels lick the balls.

Oh god I can['t wait for this game to be released next Friday, on Gamecube that is.

I suppose my mate might get it on the gc as it has 4 controller slots and he dont have an xbox
