Well, it wasn't so much today, as yesterday.

And it wasn't so much that I broke the nail, as lifted it away from the skin underneath, while moving a heavy-ish chair.

Not only is it painful, but it also makes typing hard, because it was the index finger on my right hand.

I hate it when that happens.

Rant over. You can go now.

believe it or not ive accidently pulled of a nail. it came a quarter off, then i slowly peeled it off without pain! you couldnt even tell there wasnt a nail there, as there was a thick layer of skin in its place.

I remember a few years ago, I hit my toe badly on the doorstep. My sock went red with blood. Then over the next few weeks, it started to change colour. I watched in amazement as it when from red to green, and from green to purple. Eventualy it started to fall off and then was just hanging on by the corner of the nail. Then it fell off and for a little while I had a big toe with no nail. I nticed when it grew back itwas now much harder than before, so I thought it wouldnt happen again. But then I hit it again a little while ago, and it happened all over again.

The End

Ps. And me and my toe lived happily ever after
