whats englands chances in the world cup then? realistically speaking.
furthest we can hope in my opinion is semi`s. however I think probably its gonna be a quarter final job.

I think we can get through the group, but a win in our first game is vital for morale.
A win against Sweden, and we should be able to get a draw with Argentina. If that's the case, we should be able to draw with Nigeria and still go through.
Chances are that we'd play France in the next round though, which would be a tough match to win.
To get through the group will be a great achievement, given that after loosing our first qualifying game people thought we wouldn't even qualify!

Veron's Perfermances for Argentina dont reflect on his Man United Performances...
Batistuta is way past his prime and Argentina have more than enough talent up front to replace him.

If Argentina are odds on favourites to win the world cup with players like Veron in the heart of midfeild and Batistuta as their mane striker,then it doesnt really add up.
If we can beat Germany 5-1 then we can beat Argentina.
We've got a fair easy group aswell with Argentina being the hardest team in the group i would say that we've got quite a good chance of gettin to the semis and if we get someone
like France or if we are lucky we could get Brazil.
It realy all depends on the team that Sven puts out, it looks like Owen Hargreaves will be getting a couple of games if Beckham doesn't recover quickly. The only position there isn't anyone good is on the left, there's Mcmannaman but he isn't the best of players to rely on in the world cup.
