"I played on Xbox live!"

Yeah, it's true. For those that read my other topic, I had work experience at Microsft Xbox department in Reading today. It rocks! I played TS2, played whacked against another guy over Xbox live and we tried to play a guy in Japan at Unreal Championship, but the server buggered. Good knews though, you'll be able to pick up a 'ManBag' containing a headset ( which rules, there are voice masking things too!) a disk to format your 'box and an orange memroy card thing for storing your profile. I am also going back there in the summer for two weeks, and I will get paid too! Double bonus!

Everyone is so chilled there, but the work gets done. It was the perfect working environment. It's where I want to work when I am older too!


They also sent me home with an Xbox bag, a small official American Pad (the cool, small ones) and a load of beta games, including the new Age of Empires (whatver it's called) on the PC.

If you ever have the opportunity to go there, it rules. Oh, and the 'Manbag's will be available for testing at home near christmas for the small price of £40. Oh, and you'll need broadband (which I don't have :() to play.

I've played amped about twice. It's difficult, and I can't be bothered to practice :D

I know how you feel Garbe. I do want xbox live, but There's no cables for about a mile. Uni will be the first opportunity for me to play on Xbox live. Oh, I forgot to tell you guys. While I ws there, they sent out a load of xbox live kits to Edge, XBM, OXM etc so there should be a review of it in the next couple of issues. We sent out twelve in all, and I had to write the addresses down! It took ages.

Am I the only one that isn't bothered about playing people across Xbox Live? Sure I am looking forward to downloading new levels and characters but playing people hasn't/doesn't bother me at all. I have to get broadband yet and I won't be until I have finished my GCSE's next June! Until then I am happy to play without Xbox Live but when I get both Broadband and the online Xbox service I am sure I will say otherwise :)

What? Of course i'm telling the truth. I've been talking about going there for ages, lots of people on MSN knew ages ago. Don't you think it's a bit odd how I know all this stuff, yet you think I didn't go, eh? If you don't believe me, that's fine, but I know what I did and I certainly know where I went yesterday.
