seems as im probably the only villa fan on here i probably should give my opinion. grahem (cant spell) taylor seems to have a problem in signing donkeys. he goes for the tallest players (thats why dublin is playing at the moment) which i think is wrong. and well 5m?? what is he playing at, saying that crouch does actually look like a half decent striker.

I think Peter Crouch will be a good signing to be honest. I havn't seen him play apart from the under 21's on Tuesday and I thought he did well. Only time will tell if he does do well but I have confidence in him.
As someone said, it does look likely that the Holte End's God (Angel) will be leaving at the end of the season. He will more than likely end up at Valencia. I really, really, really etc. hope that he doesn't go because he is such a class act, but he deserves to be in a team which is playing european football every year and in a team where he will win medals and to be honest, that isn't us.
I'll understand if he leaves and will hold no grudge, but I would love it if he stays with us.

Angel will be leaving Villa at the end of the season he is off to Italy. Parma it looks to be.

£5m for him!!! Surely it's so much due to his incredible size! I don't really see why they need him when they have Angel. Unless of course he'll be a squad player - which would mean £5m is even more like a real waste of money!
