I can see now that the industries will hit a wall, for we are approaching a perfect world, a perfect game. Games in the future WILL be perfect, there will be no room for improvement, because computer generated images, will look like the real world. Sounds created will sound like the real world. And the physics generated by a computer, will act as they do in the real world. Take heed, for there is no room for improvement, and you WILL get bored...
Or is there...? Are like me, who in most cases enjoy playing in a fantastical world, where not everything is, as it is here... Do you want to escape from normal life, and be transported to somewhere where there is no pressure, and no EXPECTATIONS (expectations, such a school word). Perhaps gaming WILL never end, as games gain the ability to cast our minds away from the norm. Perhaps one day, customers will be catered for, asked what they want, what they want to be able to do and see and hear in their own place...
Perhaps they are only fantasies, perhaps we will not end up with gaming chips implanted in our brains, or perhaps we will...
