I have noticed from a few games that it is not the character you would usually play who stars in it, but it is the less noticeable sidekick. Examples are Luigi's Mansion, Diddy Kong Racing and Yoshi's Story. I think this is great because I am getting a little tired of the same old characters saving the day and letting their smaller not so popular sidekick get non of the glory. Games like Super Mario 64, Mario Kart are good examples of this. Why could' nt it be called something besides Mario Kart.

But luckily Shigeru Miramoto has changed this and has invented games like Luigi's Mansion. This is great because we get the chance to see the less popular heroes in action. I think it is a good idea to release games introducing the sidekicks and hope it will be done in the future.

Jak and Daxter. You play Jak, but Daxter is the star of the show....
