"Pro Evo 2? Wot?"

Bought Pro Evo 2 and it is absolutely fantastic! Quaick question though: why are the team names totally screwed and some players still not right. I no it is to do with licensing but i thought it was sorted. N E one help?

Nope, all the Argentina players are spelt right :)

The countries in Europe that aren't liscensed are Wales, Holland, Northern Ireland, Czech Republic and a few others that are pretty much unheard of.

I spend at least an hour today renaming all the teams-done all apart from Palmeiras and River plate-didnt know they were the teams on the game. Then I renamed all the players I knew-but I have loads of blanks for the Dutch team.

Overall its a great game but in all honesty it hasnt made me wee myself in excitement yet. Dont know why-I just guess I need to get to grips with it more. I was like that with Pro Evo 1.I really hated itat first-I was thinking of sending it back but then I got used to it and bingo...

But I might be getting FIFA as an alternative too

Do any of you know a web site that says the real player names? If i get the game i will want to change the names to the real ones, so a web page will be really helpful.

If Pro evo 2 plays like the N64 ISS, then i would get it, but considering it is made by the makers of the PS1 games than i spose it wont, the one thing that bugs me is that ISS2( made by the makers of the N64 games) plays just like the PS1 games + pro evo, but even worse!

It wasn't like this in Pro Evo - there were some team players that were out of place, but not the team names.

But why is Ryan Giggs called Gigsy then? He plays for Wales and thats a European side. I might get the game tomorrow so any information would be great.

Yeah, they're only about 200 miles away. ;-)

Ok, I tried to work the English ones out...

Aston Villa = Dublin- Maybe because Deon Dublin played for them!??!
Man Utd = Aragon- Because catherine of aragon came from there?!?!
Leeds = Yorkshire- Region they are from.
West Ham = Lake Districts- Um.. god knows....
Arsenal = London- Figures.
Chelsea- Cant remember what they are on the game.
Newcastle = Highlands- I suppose Newcastle is close to the Highlands.
Liverpool = Europort- Well they have ship ports and it's in Europe.
