So what do you all recon to music creators like Ejay and suchlike?

I have my own band and I have decks which I mix with now and again but I still love my music makers! I ordered dance Ejay 4 for my second GAD 3 win, cant wait for it to arrive!

What soun card do you have?

I have a 6-Channel PCI card!

I have a beast of a sound card, But the processor is kinda slow (300), so it doesnt push its capabilities.Shame.

And then (with the wonders of modern technology) change your voice to be like scooter! hahaha, how I can insult people in a high pitched voice!

you can import your own sounds but unless you own a decent mic i.e. not the lump of plastic that came with your PC, then the sounds are grainy and generally poor quality. Still, you can download .wav files from the internet and import those if you fancy sampling something...

they're ok. they only thing is that it's all pre-rendered riffs so putting together something isn't quite as satisfying as making the loops yourself. Still, it didn't stop me and a friend making the best song in the world.

if you want more flexability in creating music then download (or buy) the fruityloops demo (or even the cubix[??] thing that SR have) - you can create all your stuff from a step sequencer and it's just more fun....
