I'm getting ADSL and i'm getting a modem with a built in hub, all the comps (4 in all) are gunna go into the hub, 2 directly but the other 2 will go into my stand alone hub then to the modem, now will i need a twisted pair cable to link the hub to the modem hub or a stright cable?

i know if you link 2 machines without a hub you use a twisted pair just wondered if it was the same for hubs.

ah your right i asked a nerd at work and he said if it has an uplink port on the hub (which it does) a normal RJ45 cable will work.

Hrm, I think you interconnect hubs with crossover.

But then I'm a coax person.
