Yes is it here? What am i asking? Why are you reading? Well is it. Is it here? Is it time for a small gaming revoloution? You now have a small clue of what i ma talking about but nothing substantial. There has been a lot of talk on the forums recently about the future of games, most of them are about graphics and who will be winning th econsole war. Well no one has talked about a change in games, and i belive that is closer than you think. Games at the moment are challenges or levels i will be mainly looking at fps. Now, Halo lots of you have played it and adired it but dont you think it is a bit of a repeat the same old thing, going through a level and shooting the baddies and saving the world? Well i belive that soon, very soon that this will change, soon there wont be levels just one big objective, lets take Halo as an example you have to save the universe or mainly you have to destroy Halo. I belive the sequal to the game could set a revoloution if it changed its set up by setting one objectve eg wipe out the covenant and flood. You would then be able to go anywhere you wanted being able to interact with the enviroment and shoot who ever you want to destroy. But you would get hints on where to go and what to do so it really is one big massive level.

Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4 says you will be able to skate around and just skate a curb for as long as you want until you decide you want to skate on and every so often you will meet up with other skaters and try and beat some of there challenges they have set. Now to me this is the way Halo and other games should go ok i was expecting a game like this Project Ego but was not expecting it form Tony Hawks. If this game can just brush this idea in to the developers heads we might and just might start getting some staggeringly amazing games. But there is still along way to go fora long time now people have been used to levels and will be hard to change, dont get me wrong here i dont want to get rid of levels totally as i still belive they are great fun to play and give you some idea of where abouts you are until you complete the game. Levels are here now and will always be here, no doudt. But i think there should eb a change, when was there last a change in the way a certain genre of games played? I cant think of one.

You might not agree with any of my ideas, you dont have to but you should have your eyes open to change. Without change we will be cemented in to a certain type of game forever to come. Chang will come no doudt, its just a matter of time.

Thanks for reading
