The 'LegsBox' as it has been called, could well put an end to all of the crazy talk about it's size, which apparently means you need a crane to get it home. If you buy the remote you'll be able to let your Legsbox walk itself home. Better still, simply buy the seat attachment, and ride it all the way home.
Ken Lobb, former Nintendo employee now working for Microsoft is behind the idea, and sights Nintendo's reluctance to release his idea for Gamecube as one of his main reasons for joining Microsoft. He had the following to say "The LegsBox will revolutionize home gaming. No longer will you have to get up to change the game, simply call your LegsBox to you, and do it from the comfort of your sofa. What's more you can send it to fetch you drinks, or even use it as a foot rest! You couldn't do that with a Gamecube, could you? Hey? Hey? Too small, isn't it?"
However, there could be a problem with the LegsBox before it has gotten off the ground. As it can be used as a mode of transport, reaching speeds in excess of 30 mph, you may need a license to drive one. Achieving a high score on Project Gotham Racing is though to be enough to pass your test though.
Yet another innovative feature introduced to the world of gaming by Microsoft, and you really do have to applaude them for again bringing something fresh into the world of consoles.
I heard on the grapevine that the Gamecube was going to have...
*drum roll*
... Wings Hauser -in association with Red Bull- endorsed wings! Making it more than a match for Microsoft's walking, hulking brute of a machine. Rumour has it that you will be able to have fights between the consoles, a la Pokemon, building up your console's specs and bringing console wars to life.
PS2 owners will only be able to use their console as a projectile during battles. This will not improve specs, it will merely leave the console in need of repair. Though Sony are working a giant Swiss Cheese version of the console, thus opening the lucrative mouse market to the world of console gaming.
