NES era was a little before my time, my time with my most fondest memorys exist with the SNES era and my favourite games were:

Donkey Kong Country
Super Mario World
Jurasic park - SNES
Jurasic Park: Lost World - Megadrive
James Pond - Megadrive and Gamegear
Comix Zone - Megadrive

Now with Mario World, James Pond and Comix Zone making an exciting come back im generally looking forward to the GBA's future...
