C'mon lets be realistic here for a little while,
Burnout has great gameplay c'mon need for speed too but how boring is it to have the same cars over and over again in a game
check the cars in burnout all street racing cars and a bit of standard ones.....nfs just the same cars in all the rest of the nfs series and others.
still think burnout is better though

Played Burnout 2 for a long time, it's fast and the graphics are slick, but the problem is that the game is just too shallow. Need for Speed:HP2 is so much more in depth than Burnout 2, though both games are very good.
Nope, it has to be Need for Speed for me. I followed the whole series through and this is the best so far. As for the Need for Speed being like Test Drive 5, what? Nowhere near it, it's miles better.

Afraid I cant agree or disagree as I have only played B2. I do have a small question though, Since NFS has officially liscensed cars in it, does it have any sort of damage effects?

I didn`t own the original Burnout, I only had a go on a few demos, and as a result, Burnout 2 is great, I really love it, but I can understand why Wookiee isn't so interested. He had the original, so buying a sequel when there are so many other games coming out soon - in particular Ratchet and Clank, and GTA: Vice City - might not be worth it.
I like both of the games and the one I like best would probably be Need for Speed 2
There's nothing wrong with both games. They are both good games. But the point I make is that NFS is better than expected, close to Burnout 2.
ive been playing NFS2 and it is really good, id reccomend it to people who love racing games...
