A new era is rising upon us. Three consoles battling for supremacy. The first: Playstation 2. The system was way too expensive! It doesn't have good games, only has 2 controller spots, the discs take too long to load. The graphics are okay, but a bit dodgy in places. Playstation 2 rightly has the motto "The Third Place" because that is where it belongs. If PSX2 was a country in WW2 it would be France.

The X-Box is a console made by Microsoft, so it is bound to have a few bugs, but good games. Halo is a brilliant game for example. The controllers are way to big, you could knock a person unconscious with them! I also like the X-Box commercials which are amusing. However, the X-Box will never match the brilliance of the Gamecube.

The Gamecube is the top of the range console. Great games, small controller and graphics that my grandpa would think are real. The Gamecube seems almost perfect.

Tell me if you agree or disagree with what I put.

About 2 months ago, I went to a store and tested the X-Box. I played a Snowdoarding game, Ramped or something, and I thought it was okay. Then, I got home and played 1080. 1080 had poor graphics compared to the other game, but was more fun. Nintendo games are so much better.

Sometimes I wish Rare developed games for every console.

I think Rare are the best developers in the world. They create the best games. No one can match them and that is why the Gamecube will be the best Console.

I doubt that Nintendo will bring out more mature games, unless the complaints keep flooding in from angry Ninty fans saying cruel things about the kiddy games being produced at the minute.

I personnaly prefer the 3rd-party developers working with Nintendo, especially Eurocom, Capcom, Rare and Acclaim.

I agree. I am anticipating as sequel to PD. It is my favourite game of all time and is so addictive. I think Res. Evil would be missed on the Gamecube, but in the long run I think that Nintendo will develope more and more games designed for adults. However, I hope no 3rd-rate games will be released.

I've always wondered what the blue sockets are for on the from of the PS2. Probably for a modem.

Personally, I think Gamecubes power and design beat all the rest, but Nintendo have let it down harshly by flooding it with kiddy games. What I really want is to have a disc or a few on Gamecube, filled with lots of the old N64 classics like PD, CBFD and Mario Kart.
