Everyone keeps talking about MGS2, I know its great and I still haven't completed all of it, but, its passed now.
Then people go on about PS2 vs XBox, Max Payne vs DMC, or even Fifa vs Pro Evo.

But what I really want to know is:

Tekken 4 vs Virtual Fighter 4

Ding-ding...

Round 1: Graphics

With only a bit of information about Tekken 4 and a whole review about Virual Fighter 4, this maybe sound strange.

Virtual Fighter 4 looks very slick with great visuals, brilliant surroundings, and realistic fighters.
Tekken on the other hand has awesome surroundings which, from sources Im told can be interacted with. Visually stunning with great fighters.

Round 2: Life Span

Virtual Fighter 4 is said more to be aimed at the single player who's looking for a challange. The single player mode grows with you and the challenge extends to meet your experience. This game provides you to put the hours in and make the time to play the game. It takes a long time to master moves, combos etc... and could last much longer than your normal beat'em up.
Tekken 4 is a more multiplayer game with its own little single player, arcade mode for you to complete. On past experience, Tekkens arcade mode is a lengthy, with a different ending for each character. No news on enhanced acrcade mode as you proceed through each round...

Round 3: Gameplay
_______________________

Both games provide great gameplay and will last a long time. But Virtual Fighter is aimed more at the single player whereas Tekken goes for the multiplayer action.

After three rounds of intense battle, the blood is smeared on the walls and the echos of pain rattle around the arena. But we can have only one winner...

Well, being the only 16 year old in my town with a PS2 who has decent games and a decent sense of great games. I prefer a great single player mode. Virual Fighter 4 delivers this. I still have the old Tekken Tag on my shelve but its gathering dust.

I think, when it comes to the day to decide I could be swayed by the Tekken phenomena, but who knows...

Anyone have any comments which can back up my chosen champion or sway me to pick Tekken 4?

I dont know much about Tekkan 4, but ive read rave reviews on VF on this months OPS2M and I think its going to be a very good game and is probably gona be the one I get, this is simply because ive owned Tekkan before so I think its time for pastures new.
