I Live In Australia and was wondering if UK games will work on my XBox

Games dont have regions as such its DVD's that are Region 2. And Australia have region 4 DVD's. But this doesnt apply to games as there are only 3 regions in games. PAL, American NTSC and Japanese NTSC.

Should do. The region lock outs are Europe PAL, Japan NTSC and American NTSC. Australia is normally in the same region as Europe. Australian games work on a UK PS2 machine, so the Xbox shouldnt be any different.
