Methinks this is a clever little sign.....might actuayl have gameplay effects, but I ain't seen 'em.
On Pianta Village, Shine 4, 'Chain Chomps Bath' look at the main offencer. A large X is on him. Remind you of anything?
Perhaps Nintendo liken themselves to Mario, slowing and eventualy chaining a large, aggressive behomoth to the ground and ending up victorious (i hope)
