I'm not a big turtles fan... but there is a new Turtles movie on the way...
I posted something about it on the movies forum a month or two back (which is my way of saying that Ive completly forgotten what the info was... I think it was that the Matrix, Crouching tiger fight scenes guy is involved or something... but I could be wrong???)

in the cartoons splinter used to be a man , then got changed into a mutant rat thing by the mutogen, then in the films he was a rat that was changed into a big mutant rat thing by the mutogen. What was going on there.

Yeah I heard about the new film a while back, I think they're spending 30 million on it or something
eastman and laird (hopefully spelt correctly) were the creators of the comic book the teenage mutant ninja turtles (worth quite a bit to collectors now the 1st black and white edition I think)
I just heard a while back that they were thinking about a new turtles movie with a darker style of filming to it with some martial arts director with it.
also there was a new comic book or cartoon or something a while ago but I never got to see/ read it
