Can someone please explain to me why if women were excluded from some special money saving deal there would be a massive out cry and the diretor of the company would see his company boycotted if he was lucky enough to avoid the lynching he is likely to recieve, however companies such as diamond car insurance can offer lower insurance rates and this only for women. Surely this is pretty much the same as other situations such as discriminatory situations women so regularly complain of. Imagine what would happen if SR said five pounds of all products...but only for men. This would make the national press. I think its about time that some people recognise that it works both ways.

Alcohol should be cheaper for men as statistics show it takes us longer to get drunk and there for we arte likely to buy more.

Thing is that insurance companies discriminate as a matter of policy. Your premiums will be really low if you're 45, drive a crappy car and live in an excluive area where everyone else has a merc: but they'll be really high if you're 18, live on Carnicking Avenue and crash seven or eight times a day. If it turns out that women are statistically less likely to claim then insurance companies will charge less.
Insurance companies don't like risk at all. In fact when anything goes wrong (eg the World Trade Centre) they start moaning about having to pay out, and then tell everyone that prices will have to go up. Greedy beggars the lot of em.
