I know developers are always trying to improve games but I can't believe the release date has now been put back to next year.
I got a demo disk from Game three weeks ago and it's great - prehpas they are adding more levels/missions ?

Right, anyway, Just seen a couple of videos for the game and it looks good, though I really do hope Novalogic have put some A.I. into the game this time, I've always felt the A.I. was one real problem of previous Delta Force games, hopefully they'll have done the decent thing and fixed it this time around.

CM4 got delayed recently, to which my reaction is one of mild disappointment, but give the quality of the previous versions, I can live for the timebeing. Especially given the huge number of quality games available at the moment.

Just not enough hours in the day to play what is available, much less to weep what you're missing because of delays!

Sure, it being delayed means whatever bugs, if any, can be fixed, but I'm afraid it doesn't stop it being any less annoying when a game you've been waiting for for a long time is delayed, just a couple of days from release.

It's not a game I'm dying for anyway, so I'm not going to loose much sleep over it.

Why do people complain so much?

Would you rather it was released early, with fewer missions and a series of graphical mistakes and a few fatal errors which caused the game to crash every 10 minutes and occaisionally corrupt your save games?

Surely better to wait for the finished product as the developers intended it.

The multiplayer demo's where fun, I did like getting onto the jeeps and helicopters and gunning people down with the big gatling guns, but it kept getting repetative.

I want to see how the single player game will work, from the screenshots I've seen it certainly looks varied and fun, but I want to try it out myself.

That's true. The demo is alright multiplayer but gets a tad yawny just shooting at buildings.
Can't be arsed to play online with a demo.

Crapping hell, I was looking forward to this game as well. I don't know why devlopers do this, I'm just thankful it's only been delayed a couple of months as apposed to half a year. I hope they release another demo, probably a single player one this time so I can get a feel for how the single player game will work.
