But, could it be that what looked to me like the most boring and monotonous game ever is the best platformer of all time?
The game got 93%, which compares to:
Ico - 90%
Jak & Daxter - 91%
Klonoa 2 - 87% (my personal fave)
Crash Bandiccot - 73%
Hmm..

I won't claim it to be the best platformer ever, because there are a lot I haven't played - all of the Mario games included.
But I have played a few on PlayStation - all of the Tomb Raiders (all basically platformers), Jak & Daxter, Maximo - and this is by far the best I've played.
So it may or may not be the best platformer ever, but it's certainly the best that PlayStation (1 or 2) has ever seen.
Well, I won't get it.
Robots give me nightmares.
Surely a contender - it's got monkey's for god's sake!
It actually uses the analogue sticks properly and it's just gonna be goddamn fun.
Although I'm not sure if I'd want both games......

Err....so, what you are saying is, PlayStation can see? You're saying it sees, therfore it has eyes? Now, we all know that isn't true. PlayStation cannot see, and will never see. So, stop coming out with daft statements like that.
Reword it to:
"So it may or may not be the best platformer ever, but it's certainly
the best that has ever been released on PlayStation (1 or 2)"
Doesn't that make a bit more sense?

I think you will find that Wookiemonster was using figure of speech.

Yes.
