I'd stake my life on it that Nintendo did not release such console as the "Game Boy Colour"
They released a "Game Boy Color" in the UK, but not one featuring the UK spelling.

You should keep it in mint condition and never use it then! Especially seeing as my UK release version of a cyan Game Boy Color has "COLOR" on the box, and on all the GBC games!
