Why are people so amazed when a new generation of console brings about a new generation of graphics?!!

I thought it was just me!

I have hardly touched my Playstation since I got a PS2, and when I did I had a go on Die Hard and then Tenchu.

I put Die Hard on and my eyes started to hurt almost to say "this isn't right". The graphics that once seemed "amazing" turned to "absolutely pants!" I had a glimour of hope that Tenchu would be better but I had no such luck.

Now the only reason I like my Playstation is because it's made by Sony..oh yeah, and also because it gave me a couple of years of gaming pleasure.
