all that the x box is jus a pentium 3 in a different box woopy so overjoyed :( not.wow u can plug the controller straight in oh no more setting pc joypads up well super. look at the specs of the machine basically a pc without windows and office capabilities. as for the games there arn't really many new games that we hav 'nt heard of ok 1 halo but the rest are mainly from other consoles e.g jet set future an update of dreamcasts jet set radio , munches odessy which was due as a ps2 release game which x box stole etc. also theres hidden costs joypads memory card if u want to show u r m8s u r saved games but cant carry the x box as its that damm big.so do u really want to spend your hard earned £300 on a pc in a big black box.?

Anyone taking this thread seriously and wants a proper hardware comparison of the PS2 and the Xbox should look at this link.

What a heap of crap this topic is...

If it is a P3 or whatever you said in a box then it's a very powerful console, i've seen one running and it looked funning nice, not sure about the control pad but I will be picking one up when they go down in price mainly for Jet Radio, Shenmue and Crazy Taxi 3.

hehe, the Xbox ran up and stole munch from the PS2.......

The PS2 must be a bit of a wimp then!

I dunno. I spent £300 recently on a state of the art games machine with some of the best games in certain genres.

Whats this pc in a black box you are refearing to? Surely you cant mean the xbox?
