you definatley have to have a ntsc compatible tv , my america gamecube , only plays in black and white on my tv , and i had s-video aswell ;-( , so i have to play it on my sisters tv , untill i buy a new one ;-( life's so unfair

Oh god! Can't believe I forgot about all that!

YEs- the TV has to support NTSC signals (check the manual) and have RGB Scart capability (or S-video, but I prefer scart;)

Thats not entirely true, you need an RGB scart connection to make sure it will play in colour, if you have S-video connectors or an NTSC compatible TV you are laughing though.
