£44.99 - Where you get the Ethernet Adapter, a game, and a demo disc. And the UK is first.
Be happy :D
Well I've already got a 100mb network installed in my house, going out through BB server so the Ethernet connection would be a better solution for me.
Still the question of subscription to the Sony network to play online, I'm sure they wont set this up for free, especially as the userbase alone in the UK is massive.....can you imagine the potential number of people actually joining that network? SWAMPED springs to mind.
Well I'll wait until further info appears, anyone got a link to this info?
Have a look at some info on XBox live as I am sure the same connections will apply to PS2 online e.g. Router, ICS or direct cable access.
Should be cool to play PS2 online especially a GTA game. Got XBox live all sorted out with my Beta test kit arriving in a few days time :)
How do we connect into this wonderful online experience? Can we use our existing ISP? Do you require Broadband?
I've already got an ISP and so would want to use that to connect.
If you require Broadband then this is gonna be bad, not everyone in the country has BB and by the looks of it some parts wont have it.
Oh and if we can just use our existing ISP then how much is the subscription to Sony going to be?
Many many questions need answering first but I'm glad steps are in progress.
The list of games sounds cool as well.....hehe Destruction Derby online :D
