I am going to write about my favourite gaming series of all time now: Command & Conquer. IT's the best because it's on all consoles and has excellent storylines and missions!

You, with the help of EVA (Electronic Video Arts) have to overcome the opposition.
GDI: The Global Defence Initiative are a peace seeking power that use technologies like satellite controlled Ion Cannons. They use their technology to defend the Earth from terrorists and other dangerous armies. GDI's leader is General Mark Shepard.
Nod: The Brotherhood of Nod is an organisation started by religious people but has gone too far! They now seek world domination using Tiberium to help them do it! Nod's leader is Kane!
Tiberium is a plant like living organism that sucks up ground minerals for it's own use. IT's higly deadly to breathe the gases it gives off and if the wrong hands get any of it could mean disaster for the world. Kane wants to use this Tiberium to "better" the world! He somehow see's a future with Tiberium and plans to make his visions of the future come true! Although he'll do it whatever the cost. The GDI have problems trying to defend everyone from Kane. The United Nations decide to stop funding them and their popularity drops heavily! But this doesn't stop the GDI.

This is set many years in thefuture when time travel technology is available. A scientist creates a Chronosphere to go back in time. When he reaches his destination, he erases Hitler from History resulting in the present time changing. Without Nazi power Stalin the russian dictator tries to take over the world. The rest of the world however have allied themselves to stop Stalin. BUT who's advising Stalin? Kane: The Brotherhood of Nod's leader! But how! Because the present time has changed, so has Kane (well sort of). NOw he's just using Stalins ideas to take over the world! He earns Stalins trust and gains respect in russia. The allies have 2 secret weapons. Tanya, a young women with loads of C4 explosives and a higly acurate sniper rifle. Also the chronosphere. They can launch suprise attacks on the soviets bases which will enable the allies to become the victors. BUT now Stalins seen this technology, he wants it to add to his Iron Curtain which makes tanks indestructable!

With Kane dead, in his own temple, the Global Defence initiative thought themselves to be safe from NOD. However, since Kanes death there have been reported sightings of Kane all over the world. Now in 2030 The Brotherhood of Nod have gone into hiding carrying on with Kane's beliefs. GDI have set up a spacestation to defend Earth and monitor all goings on.
However KANE LIVES! Kane who has somehow risen from the dead has come back to his followers to finally take over the world! With technology much more advanced than before he has a pretty good chance! Although he has a commander called McNeil to face! He's pretty good at his job. Kane decides to kill McNeil's brother hoping it will hurt McNeil too much to carry on BUT it just makes him stronger!
Kane becomes overwhelmed with Tiberium and now the final battle commences!

Final Fantasy surely? What other game has the most forums and the most posts?
My favourite series of all time was Transformers. Why wasn't there a game! It would have been so great. Especially on the spectrum, where the fuzzy speech would have been perfect. Imagine the awe of onlookers as you change from a humble yellow VW into Beachcomber, the humble yellow robot. They should also have a disco add on where you have to copy Megatron's dance moves to the sounds of Kraftwerk.

I haven't played it myself, so can't agree or disagree, but I will say that my favourite series has to be the Legend of Zelda games. Each one is different, and offers quite a challenge. I thought that Link's Awakening in the Gameboy was particularly impressive.
