Liverpool V Bayer Leverkuson
Panathinaikos V Barcalona
Bayern Munich V Real Madrid
Dont like the idea of playing Deportivo again...they got a bloody 100% record this year against English teams beating both Arsenal and Man Utd home & away. I reckon we can do em over this time though. They only won at OT becasue of blunders by Barthez and Brown. Hopefully the weather will also be warmer for these matches so Veron will play better (he plays crap in the cold!)
Liverpool...hmmmm. Thats an average draw. Bayer have been pritty crap on thier travels and only beat Deportivo becasue they were playing a weakened side.
Barcalona probably got the easiest side but Panathinaikos aint no pushover.
Real and Munich. Should be interesting...Bayern have been pritty this year mind, but still got a good defensive record.
Liverpool will meet Man Utd in the Semi if they both go through and we will definitlely have an English team in the final!
> europe from what I've seen of their games, and their defence hasn't looked

Haven't seen their other games, but they weren't too average at Anfield!
> Barcelona and munich inthe final Man U haven't been playing that well this
> season. Well not as good as Brcelona, Munich or Real Madrid.
Barca will play Munich in the semi's if they both win, so that can't happen. The final will be the winner of the Bayern-Real game and the winner of the United-Deportive game. Those four teams have too much Champs League experience for the other four.
As for the utd game, that's a very tough call. On one hand, they have beaten us twice already, and utd have not shone against any of the top teams in either europe or the premiership this season, but on the other hand their victories were a result of Barthez' blunders and late goals, and utd did only concede three goals in six games during the second phase, whilst scoring 13. We're certainly on form in europe. Could easily go either way.
Real have been simply unstoppable this season. I can't see anyone stopping them. That includes Bayern Munich.
As for the other game.. I think Panathinaikos could pull a suprise there. Barcelona have only been average in europe from what I've seen of their games, and their defence hasn't looked great. Could be interesting
United havnt got past the 1/4 final stage for two seasons now. Its about time we progressed further...
I think their luck has run out...
I agree that Barcalona, Real and Liverpool will go through though.
I think I might find the odds on that and get my brother to put a bet on for me...
