to any GC owners out there, would it be possible to use my existing RF lead from my N64 with my Pal gamecube when I buy it on may 3rd? does anyone know? cos i cant be a*sed to fork out an extra £15-£20 for a gamecube specific one if i dont need it :D

Yeah Microchips is right it will be totally compatible.

They do, I had to do use it the other day. I'm sure it will work on the GC, I would be surprised if it didn't.

Exactly. You get a decent enough scart lead with the Gamecube anyway...

ANd if you really really wanted your GC to play DVDs you can get the Q for £330 which plays JAP and American games from www.gamecube.co.uk

+ also get all of your amercian games from www.dvdboxoffice.com...they are actually cheaper than the prices you pay for GC launch games...and free shipping..

good point, but i dont want a dvd player just decent games, so GC is ideal for me ;)

So by the time you've added on £15-20 for a decent lead, then another £15-20 for a memory card (x2 probably) then add another £150 for a decent DVD player, it all = £370.

Hmmm, an XBox for £300 eh, maybe it's not such a rip off afterall...
