To day marketing is a huge business. Millions can be lost and made through marketing. Marketing is a good and bad thing in my opinion. The bad side is chains like Mcdonalds are everywhere, but if you're acompany owner then it's a good thing.

Recently i've seen products been marketed through games and films, it used to be the case that a film/game maker couldn't show products that are copy writed. But now companies namely mobile phone are giving the makers of films and games are giving permission to show there products. A classic example of this is Tomb raider.

The thing that annoys me is now buying these games and films all you are doing is advertising products to your self and you've had to pay for the privilage.

It's almost going out to but clothes just for the label. It's turns you into a walking advert for nike, addias, burtons etc.

Just because james bond has a Nokia phoine it doesn't mean every time we play a bond game we have to see it. Now we are getting younger gamers they will think because lara croft has this phone they need one.

Another form of advertising on games that annoys me is games like David Beckhams soccer. Why David Beckham he is just one player out of eleven. The thing is these people just do this for afat pay out. The game could be bad for all they care. The fact is it doesn't make the game any better because it's got David beckham splashed across the front.

The game that most utraged me was on the mega drive it was a Mcdonalds games where the idea is too collect hamburgers and milkshake. This si just encouring children to have bad eating habits and like Mcdonalds. Anothter thing that annoys me is that milkubar is sponsered on CITV i don't care buit liitle kids that are easily lead will now want milky bars, it's sick the way they use there message on little kids that don't know right form worng.

Marketing is taking over our lifes, effecting every thing we do if the companies can advertise through another method then they will.

In attack of milky bars if you are alittle kid and you see milky bars on the TV with your favorite show then you will think that they are good and want them. Chocolate is nad for children health(i Know i've studied this)and it will lead to bad eating habits in later life.

In its defence Milkybar chocolate is very tasty, and also if they were not sponsors then CITV would be unable to buy the quality shows like Dog and Duck, and Kipper the dog. Both of which are very good fun.

I hear Richmond is the retards favourite choice of cigarette. Not that Snake is retarded, but he is only a games character.

But Milky Bars are good.

Product placement in games is apparently also on the increase.

Maybe in the next Metal Gear game those cigarettes of his will be branded? What do you think he's smoking, Lambert and Butler? Royals? B&H?

WOuld it matter? Would advertisers pay for such a thing?

Zool had chupa-chups all over it.
