Sorry to say it's just a cameo appearance, and I can't stick around. Word up!
Alls I'm here to say is that I'm the Daddy-mac of the fighting games, and it's true, too true. Not only am I the King of Forums, but also I am the King of Fighters, but you know that, you know that I could kick you into next week on any fighting game!
So here's where it all began for me, back in the acrades of Blackpool, hanging with John-boy homies, all those years ago. I saw a game, two kung-fu masters fighting to the death, standing on a log, and getting it on! Well I played that game and I beat that game. It was like I was possessed, and I tell the truth my brother, I was an instant master, defeating the game on my first attempt, then taking on all challengers. I tell you what, they all left with their tails between their legs, but they got nothing to be afraid of, because I'm the King of Fighters, but you know that, and you know it's true!
Anyway, within 6 months I'd been banned from all arcades on the West Coast, given my beating of all the games, and showing up of the owners. I was the King though, and people from all around the region came to watch me play. There were riots in the streets when I got banned, and it's true.
So I moved away, time ot own the East Coast, where I got me some new home-boys. I saw different games come and go, all defeated by me with ease, but sme stick in my mind. Ye Ar Kung Fu was something different. It was like they played all the best, and wanted to beat all the rest. Ye Ar Kung Fu was the top game of it's day, what made it so good was not only the way they were keeping it real, but it wasn't just the same old human opponents. We were fighting big fat men, chicks with nunchukas and the like. And you know what? I took then all on, and beat them just like that, and you know it's true!
Years passed, and the master was still playing and a winning, taking on all comers, fearing no one, and remaining unbeaten, but all games were a little too familiar, nothing new came into the genre for quite so time, and it was a great shame my brothers, a great shame indeed.
But you know your history, things wouldn't remain bad for all times, no, Capcom brought out StreetFighter 2, and the genre was born again. 8 playable characters, all quite different, and I was the daddy of them all, but you know that, for I told you that I am the king of fighters. But 8 great characters there were, all with special moves. Of course, I knew all ofthe special moves from the very first time I played it, such is my fighters instince. With my very first credit I finished with a spinning bird kick to M Bisons head. You should have seen by fingers on those buttons man, going at them like a wild Liberache. But this game was the new number one, and many days passed with me standing at the cabinet, waiting to humiliate all challengers. But as I said, it's no shame to lose to the King, is it?
Street Fighter 2 just kept getting better, it got faster, you cold play as the bosses, new characters got added, and as it changed, I developed with it, but I was always one step ahead of it, and never could it beat me, but you know that, because I'm the King.
Other games came along too, SNK had a decent line of fighters, none to equal me, but fun none the less. Mortal Kombat came along and entertained me for a while. But a man can only make so many flawless victories, performing gruesome fatalities before he wants to move on,but again, things were changing.
Fighters wanted to go 3D. Virtua Fighter brought us to another new age, but the change didn't phase, but you know that. Again I was king, taking the somewhat blocky guys, and kicking all comers to the corners.
So you bring them on, the Tekken's, the DOA's the Soul Calibur's. You bring them all to me, and watch me beat you on them. You know it's true, and you know I'm the King.
Beat em up's are the best games, and I'm the best at them.
Anyway homies, it's time to go. Keep it real, and remember who your daddy is, because I'm the King, but you know that, and you know it's true!
;-)
But yeah, a different pad for beat em-up's might be necessary if you want to get the most out of them.
I was playing an import copy of Super Smash Bros: Melee yesterday, and it was all good, I can tell you. Of course, I won the game, but you know that, for I am the King.
Some might say that the Gamecube controller isn't really suited to beat em-up's, well I reckon it suits SSB:M down to the ground, but hey, it's not like I would have any problems anyway, given my natural born skill at these games.
Keepin it real and down with the beat.
You're not that tw*t from from radio one are you? Westwood I think his name is.
