I got my first cd player back in '94 it still works today and I use it whenever I'm home. My cd collection started out small: Very - the pet shop boys and Now thats what I call music 1994. By the end of the year I had only bought 1 more album The return of the gladiators, hey I was only 14 at the time and didn't know what I was doing.
About 7 1/2 years have passed since my first (cd) album and my music collection has grown a bit( mostly over the last few years spending what should have gone on studenty things on music).
Now I mostly have a selection of movie sound tracks, best ofs and regular albums, ok so there are 2 britney spears albums in there and that gladiators album *shudders* but other than that I've tried to make it a rounded collection as I don't really dislike any kind of music, apart from some gothic stuff (and before anyone says anything about it my sister has a few albums of various artists in the gothic style and I'd rather never have to listen to them again, but then thats just me )

Now I have the necessary funds to get a few more albums, I've already bought the sound tracks to American pie 2 and Go, craig david, as well as the Beatles No.1, but am now stuck on what to get next.
My local record store has a decent selection at cheap prices but they don't have everything that I wanted like Ash, linkin park, *cough* abba gold, and some artists previous albums. If I want those ones I have to travel out of town and pay higher prices for them Grrrrr.

I've resisted the temptation to post my whole music collection mainly because I'd recieve a load of flack for trying to up my word count so i will only post the B's
the Beatles, Blur, Barry White.

So if anyones got a suggestion for decent albums that I could get to make my cd holder look less feeble then post them here. Cheers.

I'm off to see whether they stock the saturday night fever album or mandy moore or possibly now 9 (us version, they way behind on the number of NOWs)

I ended up buying yesterday the Blade soundtrack, the Bad Boys soundtrack and Saturday night fever. I was going to get the beastie boys antholgy but didn't have enough cash, so I'll just have to settle with licence to ill on tape untill my next music shop visit which will probably be next week.
I will have to go to the "mall" to get some of the albums like the blur ones because the selection of international artists is better there.

Pavarotti's performance of 'Nessun Dorma'.

Pure inspiration.

Gorecki "Symphony Number 3" - most beautiful classical tune I've heard.

B...er...

Biohazard - Thug-Rock from NYC that deals with life on the streets but in a positive way.

Britney Spears - Get an album, and as soon as you've bought it, smash it up in the store, hand it back and say "thank you for that". Then leave

In April the Bluetones are launching one of those 'the singles' albums, so I suggest that you get that.

And no Blur collection is complete without Modern Life is Rubbish, because 'Chemical World', 'Blue Jeans', 'For Tomorrow', 'Advert' and 'Star Shaped' are on it, and I love those songs.

Get some Beck too, preferably Odelay, though Midnite Vultures rules.

And some Beastie Boys.

There, I should have boosted you collection of 'B's ;-)

I see you like Blur (Essex Dogs), so get ALL of their albums. Except maybe the first two. Oh sod it. All of 'em. There's about 7 or 8, if you include the remix albums. Get some Pavement. Get Led Zepellin. Get Jimi Hendrix. Then you'll see why Limp Bizkit are so awful.
