No, I'm not spamming. I'm talking about all that junk mail you get clogging up e-mail. Annoys me, it does.
On average, over about half an hour of being online, I gain about 10 new messages. Why? Because my e-mail is taken from things like memberships, guides which I make, even off these forums and added to these stupid con lists. I don't want a free credit card, no fuss credit approval, liposuction, free porn, pictures of Britney Spears or animal sex. My e-mail address is for me, not for ads. If I want to see advertisements, I turn on the TV where, at least, the ads are decent.

Example:

Underground mailing service.

Apparently, according to this message, I've subscribed to a chain-mail which involves people boning snakes, horses and exotic animals. Nice.

Whilst I did send an extremely offensive e-mail back to them, I find it somewhat annoying that, no matter how much I complain to them, I keep getting upwards of 50 junk e-mails a day!

So my advice to you, apart from waking up after reading what isn't fun, or interesting, is to keep confidential. Don't sign up to anything with your proper e-mail address, unless you actually want all these e-mails.

This was intended as a moan.

The only constant e-mails that I get are from Upwire, but there's nothing wrong with that at all.

Problem is, each junk mail sent out is a different address. Thats why they're always abstract things like [email protected] - not true addresses at all

The reason I get so many is because I have some guides for games on the internet. Therefore I'm added to address lists which people sell ! and get all this junk.

I've never had more than one message a day, which is pleasing.

But they do start to build up after a while.
