I don't have Sky and my only way of following the WWF WAS watching it on Channel 4. Unfortunately, as they stopped their contract and no other terrestrial channel picked up the contract, I haven't seen a match for three months!
I am in a bit if a predicament because none of my friends watch or tape it. Can anyone help? Any suggestions would be much appreciated
Thanks!
Everyone at school asks me, because they know that I always get it. Ironically enough, I don't have Sky Sports (but all the other channels), and so I get a mate to tape it for me, and give it to me the next day. Anyfudge, back to the point, I always charge £3 and a tape when lending out tapes, because I have a massive collection, and I think that I should charge money for people to have a copy of a tape out of it.
I'd never lend out a master copy, because knowing my luck, some heavy handed git would break the tape, so I always offer copies instead. My friend thinks that £3 and a tape is unreasonable, considering that a) I'm the only one of their friends who has the tape b) It would cost a lot more if you store-bought it, I think I should be able to charge that. It's not much, and a nice little profit for me.
Also, I'm the only one at school that keeps the events and doesn't go over them with the next event, or *ahem* something better :0)
Why tape an event, only to go over it a month later? What's the point? I'd rather shell out a few quid for a tape every month and have an elusive collection that will be worth many hundreds of pounds one day (if I get bored of wrestling), than have one crappy tape that is three years old, has a crackly picture quality, and all I have is 7 events.
Which would you prefer?
Note: For those who don't know (as I haven't boasted about it in the last 30 days), I have an extensive collection of wrestling tapes, well over 200 and probably nearing the 300 mark by now. I really need to count them up and post them on here :0)
Rant over.
Quite good value for money.
Thanks for answering
Sorry.
That's what I'm doing, even though I did see it on Sky.
