Sheepy-Man has been the subject of many a videogame over the years, and with good reason. Arguably there's no Forum member that translates to the world of games quite as well as old fluff head. I mean, who wouldn't want to be able to post nonsense, and and appear to all to be on narcotics– err, okay maybe that's just me then! This latest game is based on the upcoming Sheepy-Man movie, and once again proves that when it comes to good games, Sheepy is indeed super, man.
The game is set in New York and sees Sheepy-Man trying to find the gangsters who capped his Uncle Blank. This initial quest leads our man of much spider to uncover a sinister criminal plot unfolding within the Big Apple, a plot that he decided to put a stop to – natch! The story is driven forward by a string of rather nice FMV cut scenes, and it must be noted that they really do help to bring a good deal of atmosphere to the proceedings.
The story line: the storyline of Sheepy-man: the movie, follows closly the original movie, only spinning off the ball every so ofter. the main bosses include : The Green Goblin, secretly Harold Bozbourne, founder of Boz-corp. Also, not from the actual movie, is the SR dude, the yellow padded miscreant, who attacks with his patented vibra-spam gauntlets. apparenty working in co-unison with SR Dude, the high-flighing lowdow, Volttanator, an aged old man, who can unexplicably fly, who has decided to wear a *couh*Extreemly*cough* tight green lycra suit. Shortly featured is the enraged Grix Thraves, driven insane by his lack of style and friends, he did what every sane person would do. he took to the sewers. an exclusive to the X-Box, is Savat the hunter; the badly dressed Charles Bronson look-a-like bounty hunter.
So there you have it. Good looks, quality gameplay, a challenging mission structure with a good deal of freedom and huge amounts of fun. Like the comic books, buy the game. Think the film looks cool, then buy it. Want a really good-looking game that is equally playable, then buy it. Fall into none of the above categories; then damn well buy it any way - IT'S SHEEPY-MAN YOU FOOL!
