I think its time we had a longdiscussion, about xbox live and how microsoft has pushed the gaming industry forward. I mean without microsoft online play the standard of xbox live owuld not be done till the next load of consoles, am i right?

and if the servers are steady in one game it will apply to the all the others :D

I believe one of the advantages of Xbox Live over Sony is that we pay a yearly sub. Some of the online Sony games you have to pay extra to play on a particular game. So let’s just say Final Fantasy will cost £10 a month and then Gran Turismo may also cost £10 a month. The cost starts to build up rapidly, but with Xbox Live everything is done through Microsoft and everything is paid for, you can play what you want when you want and it cost no extra money.

Sony are going online with the PS2 sometime next year.
