Ok, ok, it's a bit late, but it's not like any of you were missing it anyway. My end of month report on what games I've played that is. Well I've used the aid of a cheap office suite's spreadsheet to total it all up, and here's October's top 10 played games by...well me:

1.  Super Mario Sunshine (GameCube)  Pld: 18  LM: NE  BP: 1st
2.  Timesplitters 2 (Playstation 2)  Pld: 11  LM: RE  BP: 2nd
3.  Turok Evolution (GameCube)  Pld: 7  LM: 5th  BP: 3rd
4.  Grand Theft Auto 2 (PC)  Pld: 5  LM: NE  BP 4th
5.  NHL Hitz 20-02 (GameCube)  Pld: 4  LM: NE  BP: 5th
6.  Super Mario Advance (Game Boy Advance)  Pld: 4  LM: RE  BP: 6th
7.  Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (Super Nintendo Entertainment System)  Pld: 4  LM: NE  BP: 7th
8.  Super Smash Bros Melee (GameCube)  Pld: 4  LM: 3rd  BP: 1st
9.  Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (Playstation 2)  Pld: 2  LM: NE  BP: 9th
10. Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron 2 (GameCube)  Pld: 2  LM: RE  BP: 4th

Top 10 games played since June 2002:

1.  Super Smash Bros Melee (GameCube)  Pld: 83  BP: 1st
2.  Super Monkey Ball (GameCube)  Pld: 39  BP: 1st
3.  Command & Conquer (PC)  Pld: 26  BP: 1st
4.  Resident Evil (GameCube)  Pld: 25  BP: 2nd
5.  Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron 2 (GameCube)  Pld: 23  BP: 4th
6.  Luigi's Mansion (GameCube)  Pld: 22  BP: 2nd
7.  Burnout (GameCube)  Pld: 20  BP: 3rd
8.  Spider-man (GameCube)  Pld: 20  BP: 5th
9.  Return to Castle Wolfenstein (PC)  Pld: 19  BP: 1st
10. Super Mario Sunshine (GameCube)  Pld: 18  BP: 1st

Well there we are, a SNES game has made an appearance and for the first time since I started records, a Playstation 2 game has made it 2nd!!! The overall top 10 may start to change more than just by one game in the future, especially with all the new GameCube games out this Christmas, and as I'll be getting an X-box soon, things will definately change.

I don't think complete remakes work unless you can do something really significant with it. With Resi, the gap graphically was big enough but I don't think making Mario64 again can be justified. I'd rather have a SMS2.

Aye, I'm still hoping deep down that those rumours become fact and not fiction.

What about Zelda? Remember those rumours (even SR reported it) of a Zelda: OOT Directors Cut on GC? That would rule muchly.

It's simple.

*Resident Evil was released a couple months ago.
*A couple months ago I spent most of my time at home.
*Super Mario Sunshine was released around a month ago.
*Around a month ago I started a new job.
*The new job takes up a lot of my gaming time, thus I have played Super Mario Sunshine less than Resident Evil so far.

Personal opinion. Because you think it's rubbish, it doesn't mean I do too. I prefer Super Mario Sunshine, but since I got a job, I haven't had so much time to play it as I did when Resident Evil was released. So that's why Resident Evil has had more playing time.
